An amazing portrait of humanity.

Book Project

For my book project I plan to take photos that symbolize every scene in the play Amost, Maine by John Cariani. The play is about nine different couples and their stories of falling in love, renueing their love, or ending their love. Each scene has a diffenet couple except for the Prologue, Intermission, and Epilogue which has the same two people in it. The play is set in the fictional town of Almost in Maine. The play has an element of magical realism, for example in the second scene, "Her Heart", the woman in the scene carries around her heart in a bag because her husband left her and he heart turned to slate and broke. My goal is to create a book with one image per scene capturing the element of magical realism in that scene, then I want to write a short summary of each scene.
Here is my plan on what the images will be:
Prologue: A man holding a snowball.
Her Heart: A heart with a nail through it.
Sad and Glad: A man's arm with a tattoo on it saying "Villian".
This Hurts: A man holding his head in pain.
Getting It Back: A woman throwing a large red bag of love.
Intelogue: A man's hands clasped tightly, in anticipation.
They Fell: A man falling back, showing motion.
Where It Went: A shoe falling from the sky, maybe showing motion.
Story of Hope: A man's bony arm, maybe his elbow or hand, something showing lack of muscle.
Seeing The Thing: A girl starring, confused, at a painting, the painting can't be seen by the viewer.
Epilogue: Two people, a man and a woman, hugging tightly.

I want all these images to be very close and soft. I will be using colored film then manipulating them on lightroom. Then I'll make a simple book.
